Don't read this if you already know it'll bore you!!
I wrote it so that when i read this (prolly 20 years in the future) i will FONDLY recall My Graduating Ceremony/Day with more than just a few snippets here and there.
the briefing for the Pulau Maubu trip finally ended at 11.
Great~ recess just ended..
left, looked briefly downstairs, most of the students haven't moved up to the hall yet
Thank heavens! now we prolly won't miss out on much!!
walked briskly to class dumped anything unnecessary on to the table and hurried out.
We broke in to a run,
as if any second, if we delayed even the slighted, a disaster would befall us.
My heart hammered, not in fear but excitement.
Wondered for the umpteenth time what i would find.
Someone suddenly remembered
TIE!
Noella, Suhaida,YuanNing and me Ran
back up the steps we ran down a moment ago.
The Graduating Ceremony Began
for the first time and possibly the last time,
our cohort sang the school song louder than we have ever had.
Louder, louder than possibly than the whole school. (after being forced by Ms Oh to sing)
Standing erect, proud.
Performance by fellow Graduates+Juniors (damn this sounds so cool, "Graduates :D)
Wrong notes, terrible sound systems, technical problems/slip ups
exactly like a typical Jwss concert.
The whole crowd, already used to, and is probably unconsciously, mentally prepared, was not bothered a bit.
The teachers danced SorrySorry By SuperJuniours (Korean)
and we marveled at their courage.
That song took Kai and Jes quite a while to master...
and they are gooood.
Our form teachers also sang for us!
Mr Chian tooo! Touched because he was on a honeymoon since 18Oct2009 (that Sunday)
and cut his honeymoon short from 10Nov2009 to 23Oct2009.
Just so he could spent this time with us.
He even bothered to do the performance even though he only just got back.....
makes everyone want to go: awwwwww..
Noella ran up to the stage and presented a balloon to Mr Chian.
Then war began...
Either everyone wanted to "Thank" their teachers (giving balloons, roses etc)
Or they just wanted to out do us.
:X
